Agah Efendi

Çapanzade orÇapanoğlu Agah Efendi (1832-1885) was an Ottoman who published the first Turkish-language newspaper and introduced postage stamps to the Ottoman Empire. He is further known as being a member of the Young Turks. He was born son of Çapanzade Ömer Hulûsi Efendi in Yozgat. He was educated at Istanbul,in the Mekteb-i Tıbbiye-i Şahane.
